The current website
This page covers www.theredemptionproject.news. Squarespace hosts the website. The newsroom and newsletter use Substack; the store uses Fourthwall. Those services have their own privacy practices.
Contact, letters and prayer requests
The current contact and letter links open email or provide submission instructions. Your message is not submitted merely by visiting a page. Information you choose to send is used to respond, verify submissions and carry out editorial review.
Analytics choices
Optional Google Analytics measures page visits, link activity and promotion interactions when analytics consent is granted. Our custom analytics omit URL query strings, email addresses, phone numbers and form contents. Browser blockers may prevent these measurements. Use the Squarespace cookie choices to manage consent. Hosting and third-party services may also keep operational logs.
Embedded and linked services
The newsletter signup form connects to Substack. Playing an embedded video connects to YouTube. Store checkout connects to Fourthwall. Book purchases take place with the selected retailer. These services process information under their own policies. Our YouTube player loads after analytics consent or when you choose Play.
Your information
We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted directly to TRP. Requests about retailer or subscription accounts may also need to be made to the service that holds the account.
Native apps
The following Version 1 app description is retained from the existing TRP policy; website measurement changes do not add analytics SDKs to the app binary.
Native iOS and Android apps
The native apps published as The Redemption Project (iOS bundle and Android package news.theredemptionproject.app) do not require an account.
Version 1 of the native apps does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. Website analytics tools described elsewhere in this policy (including Google Analytics 4 and Meta measurement) are not part of the Version 1 native app binary.
The native apps fetch publicly published articles, episode pages, and media over HTTPS. They store saved items, playback position, appearance, text size, and a short content cache on the device only. Those on-device values are not uploaded to TRP servers by the mobile app.
If you choose Watch on an episode that has a public YouTube ID, playback uses YouTube’s embed player and YouTube’s terms apply to that playback.
Privacy, Terms, Support, and other public pages open in the system browser. Prayer and contact flows use the system mail composer or a public HTTPS page; the native app does not operate a private intake API in Version 1.
